Time to look back before summerbreak 🍓

Hej hej everybody!

My first ever blog post... I think it will be good to write things down, to give insight and use it as a way to save memories and thoughts :)

It's two weeks before I will take my first every Charlie's Fika summer break, very needed I must say haha... For me it will be the switch to slowly entering the busy season again :) The rush was very different this summer then it was in the winter, now i know, summer is relax time, winter is work time at Charlie's Fika. At least this first year... 😉 Just adjust and take it as a good thing, learn as we go. A time to slow down, look back, renew, restore.

My mom for example, has a new motivation, she makes the most WONDERFUL terrace every morning. With so much love & attention to detail.

Whilst I'm already preparing-baking and listening to, my kind of music (not the kind I can play once the cafe opens haha), she comes with her freshly picked flowers, every morning, to decorate her lifeswork...

Everybody is so kind. One of the things I get the most energy from, is to connect with all the people who come in everyday.

Now that I'm writing this, I'm actually very happy we got the time to make these new thing happen & to take a bit of a breather :)
